Next October, our team will begin the second edition of Partituras de Pasión. As we have already announced and publicized, this is a cooperative musical project, conceived and produced entirely by SonoLecca Productions. With the endorsement of a first volume on the market, presented in the Lent of 2.017, and having received a very good review by the participating bands, composers, as well as the general public, we started last August with the prior registration of interested associations and pre-production meetings. Initially, this work was going to be composed by a total of six groups, but given the repercussion of the first work, the diffusion that we made and the interest of the Bands of Music in this respect, we have decided to extend to ten bands will finally be part of this unprecedented new project. The format of this second CD, Partituras de Pasión, will be exactly the same as the first one: each band will collaborate in this production by recording two processional marches carefully selected for this occasion.

From October 1st, our technicians will start the recording sessions, moving to the different scenic spaces that have been selected between the different formations and our recording studio. Each participant in this project will have a three-hour session to record their two pieces. With the recording format we use in Partituras de Pasión, we want to preserve the sound fidelity and the sound of each band, as well as to take advantage of the acoustic response of each space selected for the occasion. This work will see the light next Lent, compiled in a double CD (a total of 20 marches) at the same price as the first volume. The composers that can be found in this volume are: José Manuel García Pulido, Alfonso Lozano Ruiz, Antonio Moreno Pozo, Rafael Sabariego Padillo, Rubén Jordán Flores, Julio Alberto Cobo Sánchez, Cristóbal López Gándara, Alfonso Fernández Pérez-Aranda, Carlos Guillén González, Pablo Ojeda Jiménez, Óscar Román Guerrero, Jesús Joaquín Espinosa de los Monteros Pérez, Jesús Navarro Muñoz, Camilo Pérez Monllor, Juan Manuel Velázquez Ruiz, Francisco Javier Yera Jiménez.

And the bands that have trusted and will participate in this project are:

  • Symphonic Band of the Cabra Music Band Association (Córdoba)
  • Cristo del Perdón de La Rinconada Municipal Band (Seville)
  • Nuestra Señora del Rosario Band (Sanlúcar la Mayor, Sevilla)
  • Asociación Filarmónica Banda de Música Nuestra Señora de Palomares (Trebujena, Cádiz)
  • Music Band of Puerto Real «Pedro Álvarez Hidalgo» (Cádiz)
  • Moron de la Frontera Municipal Band (Seville)

  • Agrupación Musical Amigos de la Música de Mancha Real (Jaén, Spain)
  • Music Band of the Brotherhood of Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno de Rota (Cádiz)
