As a starting point, we believe and we can guarantee that our experience with the company SonoLecca Producciones was of an exquisite and unbeatable treatment, since when participating in the second edition of «Partituras de Pasión», both the musicians and the direction of the Band immediately felt the great professionalism and closeness of all those in charge, technicians and recording assistants, who were at our entire disposal from the first moment, for the planning and advice of our recording project.

At the end of the different recording sessions, they attended perfectly to our various requests, both in terms of equalization, mastering, and any other suggestion, with the intention that we were as satisfied as possible with the finish of our work.
Undoubtedly, it was a unique experience that of course we would repeat in the near future, with this company.

Closeness, trust, kindness… These are the first words that come to mind when we recall our experience with SonoLecca Producciones.

We still remember when, at the beginning of 2017, a member of our board of directors gave us «the poison» of recording and participating in a performance contest, «Partituras de Pasión», which he had seen in RRSS of some recording and production studios.
We speak of poison in the best sense of the word since our group had never participated in a contest of this type, but we were brave and we went for it.

In a marathon day in the auditorium of the school «El Picacho» in our city, we locked ourselves in a winter evening and recorded the two marches with which we bet on the contest, namely «Lágrimas de Amargura» by Cristóbal López Gándara and «Reina de la O» by Antonio David Rodríguez.
That was the beginning of our relationship with Lea and José María, and it was there that we realized that they knew what they were doing and that they had a special delicacy when it came to conducting a recording day.

And the marches of «Partituras de Pasión Vol. I» were released and, against all odds (for our part to begin with), we won the contest.
That led us to make what would be our third album of marches, first with them, taking place in the autumn of that same year.
Although we had already tried that formula for the marches of the contest, we had never recorded a complete album in what is called «false live» (we came from the classic recording in a recording studio) and that led us to prepare, even more if possible, the repertoire of this one.
The experience lived in the recording of the two marches of the contest was more than multiplied because, although the recording was in the same way (same recording place, same people, etc…) it is not the same to be an afternoon than a whole weekend.
That’s where we really checked the human quality, professionalism and know-how of a group of people who go out of their way and have the patience (let’s not forget that we are amateur bands) so that the final result is excellent.

And it was recorded… and mixed, we will never forget the attention they gave us in the days in which the disc was mixed, always following the guidelines of our director and experts in the field.
At the end of 2017 the album «Gloria, Bendita Madre» was released, an album that, according to the comments of critics, connoisseurs and the authors of the recorded marches themselves, reached sublime levels of quality that placed us in the panorama of the bands with the best recordings in the market.

We have no doubt that, all things being equal, but with a different team, we would not have produced the quality of the work we did that year.
This shows that, although technological resources are extremely important, the human touch is even more so.
We can say that in SonoLecca Produccions, apart from the professional bond we formed, we have some friends with whom we continue to have a friendly and true friendship.

Thank you very much.

When a musical association considers the project of making an album of processional marches, it faces several challenges that require a deep analysis before starting.

First of all, due to the high cost of this type of challenge, it is necessary to make sure that the money that is so hard to obtain is well invested, achieving the highest quality.

In our case, after listening to the latest record releases of different bands from Andalusia with different record labels and after making some calls with the directors and managers of the same, we decided that the best option, the one that gave us more security and the one that had the best opinions was SONOLECCA PRODUCCIONES based in the province of Seville.

One of the differential facts that had more weight was that it is a production company that leaves to the band’s management all the weight in the decision of the sound style that they want to give to the recording, allowing each band to sound like them, with an exclusive and particular sound.

After many phone calls and a lot of organizational work in the distance, it was time for the recording, deploying a huge amount of material on the stage of the Municipal Theater of Armilla in record time. The sensations of great professionals and better people that we had had over the phone were strengthened as soon as we met in person, achieving an almost instantaneous affinity.

The recording days are intense and demand the best from the musicians and the recording technicians who were always ready to meet the needs of the band, endless repetitions, listening to audios over and over again, interpretations of fragments and comparison of some takes and others, and absolutely everything with the best of moods and smiles.

Once the recording process is finished, there is still the matter of choosing the format of the album, where they offer you the best advice, always being frank and clear about what is best for the album. Cover theme, inside booklet, pack style, etc.

Through the exchange of audio files over several weeks between those responsible for the Band and Eleazar, to select the best cuts and takes, a session of a full day of work is done in the studios of Alcalá de Guadaíra, in which absolutely all the tracks are left adjusted and as indicated above, always under the criteria of the Band and never with the impositions of the production company.

The dates set from the beginning are strictly adhered to, with no delays and scrupulous professionalism.

Having the album in our hands with the sound quality achieved and with the final quality of the product in general makes us feel proud and we can say that we have found the production company we trust for all our future recording projects, both for its professional and human quality.

One of the great treasures that I keep both in the most special corner of my spirit and in my private record library, is the choral work of white voices performed by the Santa Cecilia Romana Chamber Choir and immortalized with love, admiration and the utmost professionalism, by the Sonolecca team in the compact disc «Y brilló una gran luz» (And a great light shone). As a singer of the Santa Cecilia Romana Chamber Choir and admirer of the man who for a long time directed my voice, molding and enriching my musical sensitivity (Ricardo Rodríguez Palacios), I feel a deep satisfaction for having participated in this tribute to the Maestro with the recording of a relevant part of his choral work for white voices. A satisfaction that now could not overflow my soul if SonoLecca had not offered our choral group his great capacity for listening, empathy and understanding; his love for art, for music and for choral singing; his exceptional, masterful and admirable knowledge of recording and music production; and his exquisite sensitivity.

Being part of this project with SonoLecca has been a gift in every way and also a source of personal learning. Enjoyment and learning that took place from the planning of the project (always approached from a respectful and dialoguing charisma), during the recording (where kindness and closeness created a soft and trusting atmosphere) and during the production (with continuous feedback, mutual respect and admiration that achieved the desired goal for both parties). Sonolecca’s involvement throughout the process was marked by generosity and passion for their work, complementing their production work with advice, and establishing a bond that we still maintain today.

Hopefully our paths will cross again in a new project. Thank you, Sonolecca.
